Dr Anita Trezona

Managing Director, Founder

Anita is the Founder and Managing Director of Trezona Consulting Group. She is a public health and health promotion specialist with nearly 15 years’ experience across the government, health and community sectors including in policy, management, research and governance roles.

Anita completed her PhD on health system responsiveness with an emphasis on systemic barriers relating to health literacy and health equity. Through her PhD, she developed a conceptual framework, and organisational self-assessment tool, and has published several articles in the field.

Anita is an experienced consultant, with strong strategic and analytical skills, and in-depth understanding of health systems, social policy and health and social issues in Australia. Her key capabilities include evaluation, research, strategy development, and organisational governance.

Isabella Roxburgh

Research and Evaluation Consultant

Isabella is a researcher, evaluator and health promotion practitioner, with experience across health, community and education sectors in Victoria and internationally. 

Isabella has extensive experience in primary and secondary research, evaluation and project management, as well as community consultation and engagement. Her previous roles have focused on women’s rights and empowerment, systemic barriers to health systems and access and equity.

Isabella is a conceptual and analytical thinker, with strong strategic and analytical skills, including the ability to identify patterns and connections between complex systems, and apply them to develop and implement strategies for change.

Caroline Bayer

Director, Business Development

Caroline is a business development specialist with 20 years’ experience. She has held senior roles with not-for-profit organisations in the environment, community health, and Indigenous community development sectors, and worked in local and Commonwealth government departments.

Caroline specialises in supporting organisations with identifying, shaping and securing funding for program and organisational growth, and has secured funds from $1k to $24m. She has extensive experience developing funding strategies and plans and diversifying funding streams.

Caroline has a strong understanding of the principles and strategic approaches to community engagement, program design and delivery, as well as business development across various sectors. Her key capabilities include strategy development, funding research and stakeholder relations, grant and tender writing.

She is currently a Board Director with the Darbon Institute.

Frances Dart

Project Support Officer

Frances is a strategic communications specialist with extensive public health expertise and experience. She has held senior roles within and consulted to a range of Commonwealth Government Departments, including on a broad range of health policy issues and national social marketing campaigns.

Frances has experience in community engagement and research across various health and wellbeing issues. Her previous roles have included a strong focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing, as well as palliative care, mental health and HIV. She has also undertaken extensive postgraduate studies and research in international public health.

Frances is a strategic thinker and adviser, with a strong interest in and understanding of human rights, and social, economic and health issues. Her key capabilities include developing and implementing strategies, projects and campaigns targeting diverse audiences, as well as research and community engagement.
